Length & Grading: 8.5 miles, moderate/strenuous.


Join Erewash Ramblers on an 8.5 mile walk over undulating countryside with some climbs but no steep hills, visiting Stanley, three parts of Morley and the Mound. Bring a packed lunch as we will stop for a half hour lunch (20 stiles) Children welcome but please be aware of the distance and terrain of this walk. In the Footsteps of the Pentrich Rebels of 1817 (Alfreton)


Length & Grading: 3 miles, easy.


This walk follows in the footsteps of the rebels in 1817, visiting places associated with the Rising. The walk combines an urban walk on pavements, taking us into Alfreton’s historic centre, and along paths in Alfreton Park. (No stiles). On road parking is possible in the streets behind the Library/Masonic Hall.
