A walk steeped in history: Follow the path of a Roman road. Stand where King John stood. See a holy well. Examine an early attempt at bringing clean water to a village…and much more. The walk can be muddy in places. (Over 10 stiles).

Crich Walking For Health

A walk over fields to The Sherwood Foresters Memorial Tower to take in the views of Crich and beyond. We will return via Crich village back to the market place. (3 stiles).

West Side and Bell Lane

Join Heanor Walking For Health Group for a circular walk starting from the Visitor’s Centre. The walk travels along the new bridlepaths towards Smalley and footpaths through four fields. We return passing Derby Lodge and Osbourne’s pond. (No stiles).
